Rolls-Royce in Uncharted 3?

I got this shot when I was playing Uncharted 3 yesterday. I love cars and can't help notice how sexy this RR looks. Beautiful car. Rolls-Royce are known to be really expensive ranging from $200,000-$400,000.

Resistance: Burning Skies release date!

It's official. May 29, 2012. I'm going to pre-order ASAP! you should too!
I'm a little skeptical though. By the look of the recent gameplay demo, it looks like it suffers frame rate lag. Maybe around 30FPS-40FPS. Here's an example:

Either way, since we're all (or some of us) are huge Resistance fan, why not?
Resistance has always boasted iconic visual design, and today we can reveal the Burning Skies box art — a freshly slain Hybrid lying on the streets of New York City with the protagonist’s fire axe resting in the rubble. We like to think it recalls some of the eerie essence of the classic Resistance: Fall of Man box art, but we’d love to hear what you think!
Resistance: Burning Skies pulls you into an entirely new dimension of the Resistance universe. Set in a tale of survival during the August 1951 Chimeran invasion of the East Coast, you take control of Tom Riley, an everyday firefighter from New Jersey who is thrown headfirst into the teeth of the Chimeran war machine, forcing him to redefine his notions of duty and heroism.

Game Music Bundle 2 - Help donate for American Cancer Society and Child's Play!

I donated :). I'm broke as heck. But the thought counts right? If you pay 5$, you only get 5 albums. But if you donate 10$ or more; you're going to get even MORE soundtracks. Here's the link:

Insomniac Games Charity Auction!

Signed Resistance 3 Olly Moss Poster!

"We recently had a fan drop off this AWESOME, one-of-a-kind, hand-framed Olly Moss Resistance 3 poster! This kind soul is a ‘Big’ in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program -- where due to lack of funding the majority of the children will not have regular role models to support, guide, and inspire them. He is raising funds to fix this problem and we want to help!

Together, we decided to auction this hand-framed masterpiece off and give all the proceeds to Big Brothers Big Sisters. This is a special opportunity to own a piece of Insomniac history while also supporting a very worthy cause.

The poster has been laminated onto a frame measuring: 24in x 30in x 2in. It was framed prior to signing and all signatures were affixed over the laminate with Sharpie pens, so they are sure to stay.

Thanks and Good Luck!

- Insomniac Games

On Feb-06-12 at 13:24:40 PST, seller added the following information:

To sweeten the deal and try and raise as much money as we can we will include a copy of all 3 Resistance games!
- Resistance Dual Pack (including Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 and DLC)
- Resistance 3"

Hey, if I had the money, I would get it in a heartbeat.

Better Gaming - "Sims 3 Console" needs to think outside the box

I admit, I love the "Sims" series. I've played it since the original Sims and boy do I love that game.
I also admit that I did skip some days in Elementary just to play it at home. It was just really addicting and different. It's what I call "The perfect sandbox" game with a purpose to just keep on playing. (Career / Kids / Houses / Money / Unexpected situations). The series was flawless, and beloved. With the advancement of all video game series, there are some factors that loses the old feelings of the original. Like for one Resistance; "Resistance Fall of Men" had that feeling of "Simplicity" that we all loved. Sims had the feeling of "Wackiness" and "Seriousness" that is hard to distinguish. Final Fantasy also had the "Simplicity" and the "Story telling" that is incomparable in this generation. But is Sims 3 on the right path? I am a little skeptical on where the series is going.

I've been playing "The Sims 3: Pets" on PS3 for awhile. Maybe a week long. One thing that I do love about the console compared to the PC is that, sometimes we just don't have that gaming computer that everyone seems to have. Therefore we are glued with the console or practically stuck with it and relying on it to play the next-gen games. There is some sort of bias towards PC rather than console when it comes to "The Sims 3". I am just pointing out to Sims 3 because the other console Sims like Sims: Bustin' Out was personally one of my favorite PS2 games of all time. Why? because it was unique, the gaming atmosphere was astonishing, the objectives were challenging and rewarding, the sandbox mode did its purpose. (I will be making an article why Sims: Bustin Out was one of the best Sims EVER) Now talking about the Sims 3/Sims 3 Pets. There are values in the game that makes it boring and bland. Instead of making a whole paragraph about everything, I will list them instead with some suggestions and comparison about the Sims series:

- Sims 3 got it right with unlocking more object and furniture by collecting points. Sims 3: Pets barely had any unlockable furniture
It really was rewarding unlocking more objects. This is similar to Sims: Bustin' Out where you unlock more objects by doing certain tasks in the household.
For example:
In Sims Bustin' Out: Repair all objects in Mimi's house and get "-----" furniture!
In Sims 3 Console: You unlock furniture by earning points, which is fine.
In Sims 3: Pets: You barely unlock any furniture at all.

- Sims 3: Pets has a screenshot cap! Can you believe that? I believe most of us takes tons of screenshots when we play Sims. But "Sims 3: Pets" is unbelievable, capping only about 25 screenshots(I believe)

- Sims 3 needs a more drastic weather atmosphere. I want you to compare both games because Sims Bustin' Out has definitely the best weather atmosphere in ANY of the Sims series.

The Sunset / Morning / Lighting ambiance / frame rate / Smoothness is incomparable.
If you guys want to see more "Sims: Bustin Out" gameplay, check out mariofantaic's channel:

Now compare it to "Sims 3: Pets" or "Sims 3" Console.
Yes, the graphics do look nice, but pay attention with the ambiance and weather. It feels and looks very anglo-saxon. I hope I proved my point

WE ARE BACK!

Sorry for the delay. It's because I've been busy with college. If anyone want to help me out with writing. I will very well appreciate it! contact: Chimeranpotroast@gmail.com
