[B] How to choose a great Username (also counts for clan names) (HOT!)

Today, I am going to teach you guys the art of having a great persona name. I have learned many valuable lessons why having a great name gives you more than what you will typically get with a stupid Username / Persona. Let's start off with names that suck that you should'nt even bother with these words in your name unless you want to be stuck with something so generic that no one will even give a damn about you online unless you have a good K/D ratio or your always top 1 in every game.

Avoid these words in your name: Dark, Lord, Master, Devil, Undead, Ultimate, Evil, Quickscope, NoScope.

Notice anything with these words? yeah they're darkand overtrand, but people always uses them to think that they cause fear online. But in reality, their name sounds so generic that they won't even bother adding you as a friend. Don't blend in with the crowd, be the crowd they blend in! And try not to sound so Pr0

Avoid these ideas: Alternate caps, Excessive X's, having numbers in your name (unless it makes sense), names that makes you sound pro like "MLG" but you're really not, poser names, Wannabe COD pro.

Avoid at all cost

How to think of Great Names: Be original, No numbers unless it blends in, A name itself (i.e: Killzone, Resistance), Funny or witty names, Imagery, Status.

Original: This is the essence of great names. Does anyone use this online? does it stand out?
No Numbers: Numbers tend to kill originality. Try to avoid putting your year born either.
A name itself: A series name itself stands out itself. Like "Halo" or "Borderlands".
Funny or witty names: Names that makes you smile or laugh is a good sign.
Imagery / Senses: Names that makes you think of it. Such as this website's name. You think of Chimera + Food
Status: A status symbol. Not necessarily like "Rich" or "Poor" but in gaming persona.
Luck: No one has the name or a 3 letter word that no one has yet.

Some Names that stands out online
There are many more great names out there. But they are getting harder to find because of excessive generic names online. But sometimes you just have to enjoy your name. Think of names that you enjoy playing. Heck, I even had a name called "Pinoy-B2-Spirit" which I enjoyed playing because I love you using Stealth Bomber online. (One of the first people in PS3 to get the golden Stealth bomber title. Got it around the 3-4th week the game came out, and this is one example of "Status").

All in all, just think of originality, or names that you will enjoy having, and you'll stand out.
