This is the second time I've visit an Expo. Anime Expo in LA has got to be the best one yet!. I only brought 150$. Bought a print from Jean Liang from Deviant Art (Prinny!) I love Prinny's! I also loved Rooster Teeth, so I bought one of their book and got it signed! TIL: Never miss out an Expo ;).

Day 1 - Ate breakfast at Burger King before heading out to the freeway, ate some Breakfast platter with my best friend, and my cool friend!, then we headed for the Expo.. @The Expo, we Lined up outside, it was hot.. yet, Ironic because I had my Swim Team shirt.. Inside the expo, I bought Sodas and treated my friends. 3$ per soda = 9$ Ouch. Before going to Anime Expo, make sure you eat elsewhere.. We got a bag filled with swags such as a beginner Magic Deck, a Nico Nico shirt, and a card. Took some photos! Found someone wearing a Creeper costume from Minecraft! PSSSSS PSSSS! Also went inside a convention room and watched 1 episode of Full Metal Panic, gotta love the crowd because everyone was laughing loud, I'm not sure what episode it was, but it was really funny :D. After that, we went to the "Anime Tips & Techniques with Prismacolor" Room. We went a bit late. We noticed everyone got free pencils, and free markers.. We wanted one too! By the end of the lecture and lesson, we only got a crummy "Green Apple" chalk thingy.. or colored pencil.. I have no idea what it was. At 12pm we started going to the exhibit hall, everyone waited outside like it was a line for a launch console.. When the doors opened, we rushed in! My oh my, Inside the Exhibit hall felt like an Anime Swap Meet except expensiver! HAHA! We looked around, bought some swags and headed out. Went to eat some Burger King and ended the day. We forgot one room to enter though.. WE WANTED TO GO TO AMV 101 WORKSHOP BUT WE FORGOT. </3. And about the Gundam store.. At 12pm the display shelves were full, and by 5pm around the time we were about to leave; the shelves were nearly empty.. THOSE GUNDAMS WERE WORTH 200$+ WOW


Day 2 - We did the same thing except we ate home instead, and headed out a little later than usual because we already have the badges, (No need to line up). We went to the Exhibit Halls right away. Friend got a Signed Power Rangers picture of the Black Ranger. (I don't know Power Rangers that much.) But he's pretty much a black guy too, Walter something.. anyways, I went to the NIS store and bought a Prinny Hat! I'm low-profiled fan of Prinnies. Then we just looked around. We plan to go to my Friends Birthday party after the Expo, so we looked up what to buy him as a gift.

1st Option: A Mousepad that has boobs for the wrist. Haha

2nd Option: A Hen-Tie shirt. It shows a chicken with a Tie (Only had Small though)

3rd Option: a Hentai book (LOL! we want to make his present funny and unexpected)

4th Option: A shirt from Glitch Gamer about campers getting killed.

In the end, we kind of played it safe and went for Option #4. 

Had fun at my friend's Birthday Party. Played MW2 and completely owned everyone 32-4, 39-2, 29-4. Well, you get the point. Also played MvC3. It was my first time playing it, so I lost 6 in a row, but won 7 times in a row when I got used to the gameplay :).


Day 3 - This day was a little boring. Went to do the same-ol same-ol, but everyone was pretty much broke.. haha. Went to the "NIS America" Room, and wowed.. So many NIS fan! a lot of people wore the same Prinny hat as I did. The crowd roared at Disgaea 4's trailer! When the Q&A begun, we left to the Exhibit Hall and checked out more items. And Day 3 was pretty quick because we went home earlier.


Day 4 - My other friend couldn't make it today, so I brought my brother!, We did the same thing and just headed for the Exhibit Hall (There was no good rooms today or anything interesting) so we just did last minute shopping. My brother bought tons of art stuff (My brother is an artist) Look him up in the "Partners Page". I also bought some prints. 4th Day (Last day) of Expo, stands are starting to do sales such as 20% off, etc. So next time you go to an Expo, shop and buy at the last day! Especially for Art Prints! I bought a Prinny Print and got it Signed by Jean Liang. I also bought a Hetalia Print and got it signed. (Picture above). Before the Exhibit Hall was about to close, me and EXP_Godzilla rushed to buy a Godzilla card game for 10$. It was either we buy it, or be curious for the rest of our lives about the Godzilla card game. Next year, I want to buy the Zombie Board game. Looks fun :)

Next year, I am planning to Cosplay. Maybe Persona, but I'll see. I'll bring 100$ Just for prints, and 200$ for mechs. I ain't exaggerating but at least 50%+ people were dressed as something.. I guess Anime Expo is the day when everyone really show who they really are and have fun.

By the end of the experience, everyone is now officially broke, my brother is inspired in art, I now want to start watching Anime again and now we know what to expect next year. CAN'T WAIT. 

PS: I am really surprised how many people are in the Yaoi booth.. TONS OF PEOPLE
